I hope to leave some of my thoughts here....Are Girls really evil?

Let's go back all the way to the beginning, for the existence of women. Why are women created then? check out Genesis below.

18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."... .... But for Adam no suitable helper was found. So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,"This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman'for she was taken out of man."
24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.
25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. (Genesis 2:18-25)

It seems to me (fairly obvious) that God's intention for the creation of women was for man to have a helper. If we are in line with God's heartbelt and His intention, we will know then that women are not evil right from the start.

But it's only thru the flesh in this world, how sin resides in us sinner that portrays the wrong side of women, how pornography and internet dissemination has protrayed the sinfulness of man, treating them with disrespectful and all of the ways of the world (sexual immorality, lust, etc...)

But from the grace of God...I mean really GRACE of God that He has sent His one and only Son Jesus for the world to be saved thru him (John 3:16), for us to be cleansed from our sins thru the Sacrifice of Christ once and for all (Hebrew 10).

Came across this sermon from Cornerstone thru a colleague...It's because of how great our sins were, how Israel has gone astray for 40 years in the wilderness, how men were just unable to get right with God until the ultimate sacrifice has to be done at the cross and the work is finished. On one hand, we rejoice for our salvation and the path that was restored to have access with God.

But yet, we fail to recognize the GRAVITY of our sins before our saviour came. The sacrificial lamb Jesus is so great, so high, so pure, so holy, so majestic (cf with the lambs offerings tt the priest in the Old Testament has to sacrifice) that was necessary to cleanse the HUGE sins, the HUGE evilness in man. Have we mourned enough for the great mess tt we were once in before Christ came and truely appreciate by the GRACE of God tt we are able to receive this new life?

I am bringing up this whole issue of sin (not tt i like to talk about it), because girls are not evil by nature. It's the love of girls (...the obsession in the wrong motives, prostitution, sexual immorality...) that is evil and sinful in mankind. Paul has explained very clearly in 1 Corinthians 6:12-20.

Treat girls with respect, honour and dignity, for they were created to help us man, being equal in all. Their bodies were created by God for functional uses, to complement each other, not as temple for sin. They are beautiful as God's creation are with nature.

As for being obsessed with girls to the point of idolatry, Paul also mentioned clearly:
"I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs—how he can please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world—how he can please his wife— and his interests are divided." (1 Corinthians 7:32-34)

I believe our partners should help each other grow closer to God, edify and encourage each other on our walk with Christ. Our central focus is still on God, while our partners should not take our attention away from the very source of help, love, mercy, strength from the Lord.

So girls are not evil, but they are meant to be of help for each other ya? During the adult service last week by our Senior Pastor David, the message from Ephesians stands clearly itself.
"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." This is a profound mystery— but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. (Ephesians 5:31-33)

Treat girls with respect and honour, for they are not evil.

In Christ love,
Wallis

Joey shall be the brave first soul.

Ok on second thoughts... I'd rather not. I just deleted this entire chunk of words that would have potentially landed me in the same fate as Stephen - except this time stones will be replaced by stilettos, lipsticks, dolls and for the mature ladies, leopard-spotted gucci handbags.

Before I really get stoned, I shall be prudent and not say a word.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I AM THINKING!!!
Oh yes, you do.
